June 13, 2017 – Firm partner Shawn Wanta was elected to the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Consumer Litigation Section Governing Council. Shawn is a founding partner of Wanta Thome PLC and leads the firm’s consumer litigation and class action practice groups. His three-year term on the Council begins July 1, 2017.
Firm partner Shawn Wanta was elected to the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Consumer Litigation Section Governing Council. Shawn’s three-year term on the Council begins July 1, 2017. The mission of the Section is to enhance the skills of consumer litigation practitioners and serve as a liaison with other parts of the MSBA, the judiciary and the public on consumer financial litigation related issues.
Shawn is a founding partner of Wanta Thome PLC and leads the firm’s consumer litigation and class action practice groups. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, has presented on and been interviewed about various consumer law and class action topics, and has consistently been named a Super Lawyers® Rising Star in class actions/mass torts since 2012.
