Born in Royal Oak, Michigan and raised in Minneapolis, Nicholas DeMaris holds a Bachelor’s degree in History from Rhodes College and a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. Nick is a dedicated and tenacious employment attorney who serves as a fierce advocate for employees facing discrimination, retaliation, and wage violations in the workplace. His work is driven by a passion for justice and a commitment to ensuring every client receives strong legal representation and a voice in addressing wrongdoing in the workplace.

Nicks blend of empathy, strategic thinking, and legal expertise enables him to effectively litigate cases, on behalf of his clients. He consistently demonstrates his legal expertise and ability to deliver for his clients. For example, Nick’s workin achieving conditional certification of a collective action against Bimbo Bakeries USA was an important step towards creating a more equitable workplace for his clients. Nick’s tenacious work and the groundbreaking success in the Bimbo Bakeries case exemplify his relentless pursuit of justice, serving as a powerful representation of the unwavering advocacy he brings to every employee rights case he takes on. 

When he is not defending the rights of workers. Nick can be found trying out new recipes in the kitchen, cheering The Detroit Lions, or sharing time with his wife Maddie, their dogs, and their (soon to be) new baby!
