      September 19, 2019 – Firm attorney Dustin Massie will present to members of the Minnesota State Bar Association’s Labor and Employment Law Section on September 25, 2019. During the presentation entitled “Marijuana in the Workplace,” Massie will join Nicole Trusso of Faegre Baker Daniels to discuss medical cannabis and recreational marijuana and related workplace issues that face employees and employers alike. Questions to be addressed include: How are employers coping with medical cannabis in the workplace since it became legal in Minnesota five years ago? Are fewer employers testing for marijuana? Have concerns about safety materialized?

      Dustin Massie is an employment attorney with Wanta Thome PLC where he represents employees on a broad range of employment law matters including Title VII, the Americans with Disabilities Act, and the Minnesota Human Rights Act. Massie has spoken locally and nationally and written about medical cannabis in the workplace.
