      For over thirty years Joni M. Thome has focused her practice working on behalf of employees who have been wrongfully terminated from their jobs due to discrimination, harassment and/or retaliation. Joni is a founding member of Wanta Thome PLC. Joni consistently obtains positive results for her clients through court awards and settlements and is well known for her advocacy and commitment to employee rights.

      Shawn J. Wanta is dedicated to protecting the rights of consumers and employees and is recognized for his handling of complex legal matters. A founding member of Wanta Thome PLC, Shawn leads the firm’s class and complex litigation practice group. He ardently represents individuals and groups in and out of court to enforce laws that protect individual rights.

      Frances E. Baillon

      Frances E. Baillon is a recognized advocate for those who have been treated unfairly by the illegal practices of employers. Frances litigates and tries employment cases involving sexual harassment, discrimination, and retaliation in state and federal court. She has successfully argued cases before the Minnesota state and federal district courts, the Minnesota Court of Appeals, the Minnesota Supreme Court, and the Eighth Circuit Court of Appeals.

      Jerri C. Adams Belcher

      Jerri Adams Belcher is a fearless and tenacious advocate for employees’ rights. She represents individuals who have experienced discrimination, retaliation, and harassment in the workplace. Jerri has litigated and tried employment, insurance, and construction-defect cases. During law school at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, she developed her advocacy skills as a judicial intern for then Chief Justice Shirley Abrahamson of the Wisconsin Supreme Court. Jerri also served as a member of Wisconsin’s Mock Trial team and as Secretary of the Black Law Student Association.

      Scott A. Moriarty

      Scott Moriarity litigates complex employment and class action disputes throughout the United States, helping clients vindicate their rights against large, well-funded adversaries. He has formulated winning strategies in major employment and products liability litigation and achieved lasting results for his clients. Scott also handles ERISA benefit disputes and advises key employees about their executive compensation and benefits.

      Nicholas P. DeMaris

      Nicholas DeMaris is passionate about protecting the rights of employees who have been discriminated against, retaliated against, or harassed in the workplace. During his time at the University of Iowa College of Law, Nicholas served as an Articles Editor on the Iowa Law Review and as a clinical law student in the Employment Law practice group representing workers in employment related disputes.

      Katherine E. Rollins

      Katy Rollins is passionate about the protection of our civil rights and advocates on behalf of employees who’ve faced unlawful discrimination, retaliation, and harassment. While in law school, Katy honed her legal skills working in various clinic programs, including the Health Law Clinic and with the Office of the Minnesota Appellate Public Defender. She also worked as an Articles Editor for the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. Katy graduated summa cum laude from Mitchell Hamline School of Law.

      Michelle Gibbons

      Michelle Gibbons practices exclusively on behalf of employees who have been subjected to discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and other unlawful treatment in the workplace. While in law school, Michelle honed her legal skills as Associate Editor-in-Chief of the Mitchell Hamline Law Review. She also worked as a Judicial Law Clerk in Ramsey County district court and completed over 150 hours of volunteer work through the Minnesota Justice Foundation’s Law School Public Service Program.
