Frances Baillon recently spoke at the Minnesota National Employment Lawyers Association Member Meeting “Law Office Management for the Plaintiffs’ Employment Lawyer,” along with John Klassen of John A. Klassen, PA and Steven Andrew Smith of Nichols Kaster, PLLP. The panel discussed the basic aspects and trends of law office management, including topics such as marketing strategies, the client intake process, and staff organization. The dialogue highlighted the importance that these everyday administrative tasks have in the efficiency of a cohesive and client-focused firm.

The National Employment Lawyers Association, or NELA, is the country’s largest association of lawyers who specialize in advocating for employee rights. The Minnesota chapter has over 100 members, with Baillon currently serving as Vice President. MN-NELA hosts monthly educational meetings on a variety of issues concerning employment law, providing professional growth for its members and continuing the ongoing discussion centered around employee-employer relationships. The employment lawyers at BTJW are long standing members of MN-NELA and regularly participate in the organization’s events, both locally and nationally.
